Women In Power is a non-profit organization that help women In business. Women In Power was established in 2015 and Women In Power became an official non-profit 501c3 in 2016. Women In Power was a calling that was given to the now founder Trina Boyd. Trina Boyd accepted the calling to Women In Power and Women In Power has been going full force since 2015. Women In Power very first event was in 2015. Women In Power first event was called the Women In Power Brunch. The first Women In Power event called the Women In Power brunch was located at 125 W Tremont Ave. Charlotte, NC 28203 and there was over 500 women who registered for the Women In Power Brunch. Women In Power planned this event our very well. Women In Power had about 7 paying vendors at the Women In Power brunch and Women In Power had a lot of women sponsors to sponsor a variety of services and products. Women In Power was able to secure a sponsor to decorate the event. Women In Power was also able to secure a food vendor and the food vendor sponsored most of the food for Women In Power. Women In Power was able to secure several speakers. One of the speakers for Women In Power experienced a lot of trauma in her life. The second speaker for Women In Power was a empowerment speaker and was very awesome. Women In Power was also able to secure an awesome singer. The singer actually performed at the Women In Power brunch and she did an excellent job. The female singer song for about 3 hours at the Women In Power Brunch.

Women In Power is a great organization to be apart of. Women In Power has members all over the country. Women In Power has members in Mississippi, Charlotte, NC Delaware, Virginia and New Mexico. Women In Power is a national women’s networking group! Women In Power offer exclusivity per chapter per niche according to your location. For example, if you are in the Charlotte chapter and you are a photographer, you will be the only photographer in Charlotte in our Women In Power group. Women In Power is also in South Carolina. Women In Power is in Rock Hill, Tega Cay and Columbia, SC. Women In Power loves helping women in business! Women In Power offer group coaching sessions to members who are trying to start a business. Women In Power offer group coaching to businesses who are trying to grow their business. Women In Power offer monthly educational classes to women who are part of Women In Power. Women In Power also have monthly networking events to members and non-members. One of Women In Power’s signature event is called the Virtual Brunch and roundtable. All of the members love this event and of course non-members love this signature event that is hosted by Women In Power. Women In Power is overall a great organization to be apart of. Another perk to being a member of Women In Power is having access to our online courses on our website. Women In Power online courses ranges from business start up to starting a non-profit to trying to get a grant or sponsorship. Women In Power will also offer Marketing Monday twice a month. On Marketing Monday with Women In Power we are teaching each business owner, marketing strategies to grow your business. One marketing strategy that Women In Power discussed was how to use tiktok videos. TikTok can make a business owner thrive if the owner is using Tiktok the correct way. Women In Power teach the members how to schedule out their tiktoks for the entire month. Scheduling tiktoks for the Women In Power members helps the members manage their time to do other things. Another marketing strategy that Women In Power like to discuss is having your business on google.com. Having your business on google is so important. Women In Power stress the importance of having a quality google listing. Women In Power does marketing Monday twice a month in addition to other things that we offer.
Women In Power is a community of women in business. The most profitable part of being apart of Women In Power is actually buying each other products and services. We don’t have to look far for a photography or a video person to do videos. All of our products and services for buying is withing Women In Power. Women In power loves this! Women In Power members can support each other.
Women In Power founder, Trina Boyd, does Business tip Tuesday every Tuesday and this is open to the public on a Facebook live video inside of Women In Power group or Women In Power Facebook page. Women In Power founder will give out a business tip in order to help a woman who is in business. On Wednesdays night, Women In Power does prayer for the women businesses. Women In Power members definitely put God in our business. Women In Power member Elizabeth host our Wednesday night prayer, twice a month. Its just so important to pray in our business. Women In Power has open house once every quarter, during Open House, we are introducing the public to Women In Power. Women in Power does annual brunches. The brunches is a day of celebrations and fun. The Women In Power brunch does a lot of networking within our group and at our Women In Power brunch. Each year Women In Power will have the brunch location at a different spot.
